Instant Pot Apple Sauce


Recipe Makes: around 4 cups

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 18 minutes

Total Time: 23 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

10 apples

1 tsp cinnamon

½ cup water

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Peel and core the apples. Slice them into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Toss the cubed apples into the instant pot and sprinkle on the cinnamon, and pour the water in.
  3. Set the lid to sealing mode and high pressure for 3 minutes (the pot takes around 10 minutes to warm up). Once cooked, let there be a natural release for 5 minutes. Then release the pressure manually.
  4. Set the pot to saute mode, and grab a potato masher. Mash the apples until they are pureed. Optional: Sauté until the apple sauce thickens up a little.
  5. Let the applesauce cool before serving. Enjoy!
