Garlic Knots

Recipe Makes: 6-8 servings

Prep Time: 50 minutes

Cook Time: 20-25 minutes

Total Time: 1 hr 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb pizza dough

5 tbsp butter; melted

½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp dried rosemary

2 tbsp fresh parsley

4 garlic cloves; diced

2 tbsp olive oil

½ cup Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Sprinkle flour on your work surface. Grab the pizza dough and knead it. Next you are going to roll it out until it is about ½ inch thick.
  2. Then slice it into around 6 inch long strips that are around 1 inch thick. Take the dough and tie it into a knot, tuck the hanging pieces under the knot.
  3. Let the dough rise for 30 minuets in a warm area. While the dough is rising combine the melted butter, oregano, rosemary, parsley, garlic, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese in a ramekin. Mix it together until well combined. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  4. Then split the mixture in half. Brush the knots with half the mixture before baking, be careful to not deflate the dough. And the other half when they freshly come out of the oven.
  5. Bake the garlic knots at 350 F for 20-25 minutes or until slightly golden brown. Take the knots out of the oven and immediately brush them with the remaining butter mixture. Let cool and enjoy!
